Go Viral Network Announces Next30 Emerging Leaders Competition

June 21, 2021 – To mark the 30th anniversary of Central Asia’s independence, the five American diplomatic missions in Central Asia and the Go Viral network have launched a regional campaign: Next30 Young leaders from Central Asia, to identify 30 emerging leaders in Central Asia, born in 1991 and later.

Registration for the The Next30 campaign is open to the public from June 20e to July 20e. Next30 Central Asian innovators from Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Turkmenistan in the fields of business, media, culture, technology and civil society will have the opportunity to share their achievements , their successes and contributions, and identify their vision for the future of Central Asia.

“The United States is proud of our partnership with Central Asia and joins every country as they celebrate their 30th anniversary. With this initiative, we want to support the young leaders of Central Asia, who can inspire others to create innovative ideas and collaborative projects, support the efforts of local entrepreneurs and promote cooperation in the world ”, mentionned Eric Meyer, United States Consul General in Almaty.

Finalists will will be announced on August 13, 2021 and the the winners will be announced on September 17, 2021. According to the selection criteria, all applicants must be at least 18 years old (as of July 20, 2021) and be born no earlier than 1991. Applicants must complete the registration forms in English and write a 300 word statement describing contributions they have made to the future of Central Asia through innovation in their field.

US diplomatic missions across Central Asia are proud to support Go Viral’s Next30 initiative to promote the new generation of leaders, born since independence, who represent a future full of opportunities and new ideas ”, mentionned Charles Martin, director of the Go Viral Tajikistan program and founder of Go Viral.

Next30 winners will have the opportunity to meet, network at regional Go Viral events as well as travel to the United States in a group next year meet American experts and innovators in the fields of media, business, culture and technology.
