Trumpet, NGO Leaders Host Media Forum Tomorrow in Abuja | The Guardian Nigeria News


Political leaders and media professionals are gathering in Abuja tomorrow to reflect on pressing national and other issues.

Tagged “Leaders-Media Forum for National Development”, the forum held at the National Merit House, is organized by a non-governmental organization (NGO), Good Circle International Organization, in partnership with The Trumpet Newspapers.

The theme is “Promoting Citizen Unity and Economic Empowerment for Sustainable National Development”.

Editor of The Trumpet, Omokioja JJK Eto, said: “There is no better time to organize this event, as there is a need for leaders and the media, as well as the public, to interact and provide insights. sustainable solutions to the challenges facing our society.

GCIO International President, Esanerovo Agbodo, in a statement, said, “The forum is intended to shed light on issues relating to the unity and empowerment of Nigerians for building a manly nation. The forum is deliberately formulated to bring together leaders of different political parties under one roof to promote unity among Nigerians regardless of their political affiliations. All Nigerian citizens are united in their quest for good governance and economic empowerment. So what we need in Nigeria is good governance and Nigerians under any political party who have what it takes to govern the country effectively.

Leaders expected at the forum as speakers include former Vice President Atiku Abubakar; Senator Rochas Okorocha; Governors Yayaya Bello and Nyesom Wike of Kogi and Rivers States.

The 2019 All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) presidential candidate, Major General John Gbor (rtd), is the chair of the event.
